Did oil change and brake inspection. Brakes were not need but had 2 filter changed. Good price and honest

Exceptional Integrity is practiced here at John's La Mesa! Recently had a problem with my car and had to take it to a different mechanic other than John's. When it was discovered that an honest coding issue with the battery had been accidentally done as part of a previous maintenance at John's, the John's OUTSTANDING management offered to make it right at the shop in La Mesa or reimburse me for the cost of the other mechanic. The issue was simply corrected including follow up calls from Jay at the shop. It is VERY VERY important to these good guys to be of integrity! I am a man of my word too - I appreciate their honesty and accountability. All I can say is - Give John's Automotive Care La Mesa a chance to prove - They are the people for the job when it comes to AutoCare and Business!! Thank you!!

This was our 1st time going to John's automotive and even though there were a few hiccups regarding our repair, they definitely cared and did their best to make us happy. I will definitely go back and recommend them to friends.

What can I say about this place. I'll start with I came in for service but I got a lot more. The people that work here genuinely care about the people and the job. They share great stories and are very engaging with their customers. While there I learned a lot about the business. They actively participate in the Boys and Girls club cash for cars, and it seems that they donate tons of time and cash to the program. They had many customers come in that as soon as they came in, knew thier name. Everyone laughs and jokes but they get the job done. I had an oil change, headlight, and TPMS system fixed. The cost was very reasonable and the quality of work was outstanding. My wife and I have decided to make this our auto shop of preference and will give them our business. Great shop, great people, and great work. Price was great!
