I paid John's $415. to diagnose my recently purchased '09 VW Beetle Convertible because of their AAA affiliation. Their analysis was worthless, a total waste of money. They advised me, (offering no reason}, to replace the aluminum engine. They also advised I replace my "rusted" aluminum radiator, it's fine. They correctly advised I get a new H2O pump, replace a few hoses & fix a few other minor problems. I'm a 60 yr. AAA member; for $415. I expected a professional diagnosis.

I can’t say enough good things about John’s Automotive Care in La Mesa! I stopped in today because my brake light was out, and Cameron had it fixed in under 15 minutes. The service here is truly incredible — quick, professional, and always friendly. Whenever I need a repair, big or small, I know I can trust John’s to take care of it. It’s rare to find a shop that consistently delivers honest, high-quality service, but this place does it every time. Highly recommend!

I love the way they send the diagnostic information for your car with photos attached, and I feel like their pricing is fair especially for the service you receive! The shuttle driver Juan is sweet, easy to talk to and kind! I won’t take my cars anywhere else!!
