I've had some bad experiences at many local auto repair places in San Diego. However going to John's Auto Repair in Le Mesa was night and day. Brian took care of us and the entire staff was great to work with. They frequently update you with detailed pictures and that have a shuttle driver named John who is very nice. My family couldn't be happier with their flawless service and not only will we go back again, but we highly recommend this place to everyone. Way to go and great job!!!

John's Automotive Care in La Mesa is truly a great resource for automobile owners who want the best for their car. We really needed help getting our 1978 Triumph Spitfire back on the road and the great mechanic, Robert, with years of specialized experience exceeded our expectations with solid repairs (battery, brakes, tune-up, radiator) and special parts, including finding a salvage rear axle in northern California that was necessary to get us back on the road! We passed smog tests when John fixed our car back in 2017, and today 2019 we just passed smog again! Thanks to Robert and to John's Automotive for solid work with a smile!

Super friendly staff

Our a/c went out on our GMC truck I find John's via AAA. Great service clean waiting area with toys for children tv snack and drinks. Also a shuttle. I thought only dealerships had shuttles. Great job 😁

Honest and helpful in explaining maintenance that my car will need at some point. But not at all pushy in trying to sell services, or adding things that my car does NOT need (like another guy I'd gone to). Plus they pointed out things to be aware of, which others had missed. So yeah five stars!

My experience with John's Automotive is always excellent customer satisfaction!! Dave Carr always treat my car as if it were his own. I will not trust the repairs to my vehicle with any other repair shop period. Fore sure, I give John's Automotive - the highest rating of Five(5). Women especially, can trust this shop, and not feel they will be taken advantage of.

Dave, Eric, and John are very Profesional men, with great humor and absolutely great customer service. From their complimentary shuttle to and from the establishment, on-site refreshments and snacks, not to mention the service they provide was more than I could ask for. I would highly recommend choosing this location and joining their family.
