Do you know a person or family that could use a little help?

Between October 1st and November 30th, 2023, you can nominate a deserving family, friend, neighbor, or anyone you personally know who deserves a little help with a used vehicle in great condition. The Official “CAR FOR A CAUSE” nomination form can be completed at any participating John's Automotive Care La Mesa location or on the website.

A winner will be selected by a panel on or before December 10th, 2023. The winner will be notified on or before December 14th, 2023. Vehicle transfer will occur at an event on or around December 17th, 2023 (Please note, that news and media will be present)

Official Car For A Cause Nomination Form

  • Complete all the information on the nomination form to qualify
  • “Car for a Cause” promotion is free, no purchase necessary, no gimmick
  • NO self-nominations will be accepted
  • “Car for a Cause” 2023 promotion is open to California residents living in the San Diego area, city, or surrounding city of a John's Automotive Care La Mesa business.
  • Nominee must have a valid driver's license. 
  • Deadline: Official Car for A Cause nomination form can be submitted in person to any John's Automotive Care La Mesa member business no later than 5PM on Thursday November 30th, 2023
